THE WORLD CUP 2014 #DoUsProud

We are so pleased to have been part of the World Cup Campaign in support of the England's squad for this year's World Cup.

Teaming up with our friends at Platinum Rye, to create THE track in support of the England team did come with sleepless nights, long hours, back and forth emails with various different companies involved, a lot of hair-pulling and we'll admit.....some tears...BUT we are so glad to have been involved regardless.

We got the brief in from Plat Rye to find a cool, young indie band, where we scouted Dexters who fit the bill perfectly. 

Getting them in the studio, the lads re-recorded The Seekers hit 'I'll Never Find Another You' that quickly became loved by the agency involved in the campaign (Grey London) and The Sun Newspaper...and the rest is history!

The track is now the official England anthem for the World Cup and has gone down a storm with fans across the UK.

The track featured on The Sun's advert in the run-up-to the games of a line-up of footballers heading one ball down the line, with interviews of fans as well as the lead singer of the band Tom.

Dexters certainly did us proud, and we know England will too!

DOVE - A MOTHER'S BODY

#NEWPLACEMENTALERT

So as you all know we recently signed an exclusive publishing / management deal with the talented beauty that is Miss Sarah deCourcy. Not only have we been hard hitting A&R's and records labels, setting up writing session for her, she takes time out of her busy schedule to compose music to briefs we get in.

When this Dove brief landed at our door (or should we say on our laptops now we are in the 21st century) we knew Sarah could compose a piece as beautiful as the advert. Two sleepless nights, Miss deCourcy spent in her studio in Chiswick, composing, re-composing, editing, re-editing and she nailed it!!

For our beautiful USA Market, Mother's Day was early this Month, and this placement is a special show of appreciation of all the hard-working Mother's out there.

SOHODOLLS 'STRIPPER' IN THE OTHER WOMAN TRAILER

ALERT!!

BIG PLACEMENT LANDED!

So ok we have landed a fair few Worldwide adverts recently....all of which are great....no doubt...but this placement is worth shouting about!!

We have landed our most-synced track 'Stripper' by the electro group Sohodolls, in #No1MovieInAmerica Trailer for the beautiful Cameron Diaz's latest film 'The Other Woman'.

Yes in the history of A&G, Stripper has been the most-synced track (Budweiser Crown Superbowl) for us, but we are super-excited about this placement.

PERSEPHONE'S BEES

Good News Friday!!

We have landed a placement with a new beauty advert by Takano Yuri Beauty Clinic.

This beautifully sweet advert features the Sweet sounds of Persephone's Bees track "Nice Day" with the beautiful Model Amanda Kerr dancing along to it :)

Short and Sweet, straight to the point, but great to have in Japan!! (Only broadcast out there, so count yourselves lucky you get to see it)

GAME OF THRONES - SEASON 4

Game Of Thrones Season 4 is upon us!!!

And we know you are all excited to get stuck into it!

We are especially excited as we landed a placement in one their many Trailers! 

Our track was used in the HBO Screening 'Weeks Ahead Trailer' at their opening event.

Getting one of our most talented Composer's Cato to remix our Faroe Island Beauty Eivor track 'So Close To Being Free' for the Games, it was a sure winner!

Although we don't have visuals for the trailer just yet, as you know we can't spoil the season for you, we have seen it and it is AWESOME!! We are hoping to release the visuals very soon to you....trying with all our might!!

A&G SONGS SIGNS SARAH DECOURCY

We're both excited and proud to announce our Exclusive Publishing / Management deal with the incredibly talented Producer/Composer/Songwriter/Vocal Producer, Sarah deCourcy. (Is there anything this woman can't do?!) Sarah has worked with big names in the industry including Example, Hadouken! and Nicole Scherzinger (to name a few) and she also musical directed Kylie Minogue's 2008 X tour.

Her music is already being snapped up by TV and advertisement placements and we've experienced first-hand the effectiveness of Sarah's music as we placed one of her beautiful compositions alongside our new showreel video. Sarah is currently in the studio working with Levana Wolf on her debut album and Leo Stone's forthcoming EP (writing and producing).

We're anticipating big and exciting things for Sarah here at A&G so watch this space.....

MAZDA

Well we must be very appealing to Car Manufacturers right now.....first we bagged the New Mini Cooper advert with David Morris and his rendition of the classic "Post Horn Gallop" and now MAZDA!!!!

For Canada Only, we have landed Chelsea Automatic's 'A Feel In' in Mazda's latest advert 'Get It In Gear'. This ad is for their sale, and I reckon this will boost numbers :)
